Thanks for taking the time to read this! I'll try to keep it interesting, now that I'm gaining more watchers and more views, I better!
It's taken me a while to get to a point where I can begin to focus more on photography, and I'm finally taking more serious steps to do so. I've put school on hold now that I have my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, with a Fine Arts emphasis. I have no solid plans on re-entering school other than I figure I'll make quick work of a bachelor's degree when I feel the need. Finish off that Environmental Resources Engineering degree, grab one in Business, or perhaps continue in Fine Arts with a Studio Degree or *gulp* -- art history. I've never taken an art history course...

This is all while on my little "break" from photography as a forefront.
I now have even higher aspirations for when I can make it my focus again.

When will I?Well...I've been working on a pesky 25 year old sportscar that I drive daily, two jobs, and keeping a social life. I am saving for a new workstation to begin doing photography as a third job; that is when you will see things pick up and I will begin to take clients and start building a more professional resume--
Until then you get to enjoy landscapes, macro, cats, concert shots, and other odd images I've taken that you've
never seen.
Website? Once I get the new computer. Had one. It was deleted because of a mis-communication.
Live and learn.
What computer? I'm looking at HP's Elitebook 8560w, or Dell's Precision m4600. Both are pricey, both are about the same in specs. It will come down to case preference, warranty, and whichever company wants to give me the best price AND service. All I know is, I'll have one of the toughest (aside from toughbook rubberized beasts) laptops out there, one of the best screens in a laptop (there are SEVEN IPS options on the market), and plenty of CPU power to tackle the next 5 years of...whatever programs I need to run. It's a shame I don't plan to do video processing or CAD work...but I will try some of those nice new games that are currently taxing other laptops.
What's the wait? There's a new line of intel processors due out in a couple months, and MONEY. I could save battery life with the new ivy bridge line of intel CPU's (would be awesome considering the specs I'll be running!), and any extra padding in my bank account will help.
I'm happy for where I am though, and I'll be in another musical soon, so it's going to get busy again! I will continue with photography the best I can, though. No more lulls if I can help it!
Thank you all SO MUCH for all the views, support, feedback, and of course to *picturemouse for the lovely feature; it all means a lot to me!
